✧ About ✧
Naia Stern ⭑ 21 ⭑ Oct 28
Hello, I'm Naia Stern,
an illustrator and beginner game dev.
✧
Ultimately, I'd like to share my fairytale worlds through the lens of video games.
I love the idea of taking classic fairytale stories and tropes, and revamping them for an interactive experience.
✧
I draw from my love of late victorian and art nouveau aesthetics, indie video games, and the dark fantasy, supernatural and comedic elements used in some of my favorite pieces of media.
✧
I'm currently working on a Halloween inspired animation that combines 2d children's book illustrations with 3d software to create a papercut effect.
✧
I am also working on a small Greek and A Midsummer Night's Dream inspired video game,
Yume no Kuni
夢の国
I'm using it more as a learning project than a fully fledge concept, but am very eager to complete it nonetheless.
I've always enjoyed seeing what shaped some of my favorite creators, seeing the interests we have in common, and finding new ones alongside them.
Below are some examples of things that inspire or have had an impact on me :]
